CTP Boxing system is designed for the secondary packaging of virtually all discrete products, such as bars, tubes, bags, etc. at speed up to 800 PPM. The products can be packed into nearly every common top load carton style like tri-seal closure, open tray, tuck-in lid, etc at a performance of up to 30 cartons per minute.
The EAGLE is a robot loader specially designed for integration into packaging lines running at very high speeds, and also offers greater flexibility.
Fully operated by servomotors the unit guarantees the highest efficiencies, with a maximum of 5 minutes for format changes.
The two-axis servo driven robot is a Vortex Systems own development. The innovative design and modular construction, makes it suitable for machines with different working capacities.
A single picking tool is used for all products or patterns.
There is no requirement to change the gripper head when handling products with different dimensions, or when filling cartons with different counts.
The individual picking heads can be grouped in different numbers, at different pitches and, consequently, form matrixes with a variable number of products. The effect of this design leads to reducing change over time, simply by replacing only an aluminium plate all the co-ordinates relevant to picking, grouping and loading are codified.
All other changes are carried out by software selection on the operator interface panel.
The quick and reliable change-over concept of the CTP Boxing System simplifies the production of a steady increasing number of SKUs. The top loading concept with its built-in flexibility allows for it all: e.g. consumer cartons with one to six products/carton, display cartons with 12/24/36 or other count and retail ready cartons.
